Reputation on Xbox one

My Reputation was on Needs Work from some 2 messages I sent over Xbox and then out of nowhere it went to Avoid me and hasn't went back and Xbox wants me to play with people..... but how am I suppose to play a game with people if my joint is on Avoid me.....
This reputation system is dumb. Just today I woke up and checked what my rep was it said Good Player I play one game of Online head to head 2k and it goes back down to Avoid me...So like what's up? Are yall gonna keep me on Avoid me for another week or what
because I mean if it said Good Player it said Good player and I shouldn't be taking back down for getting online come on now lol

My reputation on Xbox 360 is good but since gow ue came out on Xbox one my reputation was unbelievable

Xbox one don't have an option called prefer me !!

Not sure how the Reputation System works to be honest.

I would have suggested posting on the Account & Suspension forums but as you haven't been banned I'm not sure that's the place to ask about your rep.

I guess you could contact Xbox Support, they might be able to help you out but there's no-one on these forums that will be able to answer questions related to your own account.

My only advice ( apologies if I've got this wrong ) but if the 2 messages you sent were the cause of your rep going down then in future don't send any lol. If someone gets abusive online, Report, Block & move on, same if you receive a message from someone.

 

Nah dawg if somebody some trash in 2K I have to tell them Xbox just be suspending you for nothing nowadays. Messages weren't even that bad

 

I'm sure there was more to it than 2 messages.

Trouble is and again apologies if I'm reading this wrongly but what you consider not to be a bad message, someone else might take offence to and report you, hence the reason for your rep change.

Once more, I really don't know how the system works and other than Xbox Support I wouldn't know where to suggest posting but there's definitely no-one on this forum who can answer anything related to your account.

Hopefully someone else can point you in the right direction.

 

dawg I checked it Ive been reported like 8 times for Unsporting & Voice and like 2 times for Messaging. too many lul kids on 2K getting in they feelings when they lose

Sounds like the system works about as well as it did on the 360. I had negative rep for voice communications before I ever plugged a mic in. At least with the 360 it was the game publishers who controlled what happened if you had bad rep and not MS.
