    Reputation lowered due to false reports.


    I've recently been playing a lot more competitive on overwatch than usual, and i've been getting a lot more reports on my account because of the heroes I pick, or how good I am at the heroes i'm playing. I don't deserve my reputation lowered and I don't
    understand why false reports would do that anyway. I play Friday the 13th which requires game chat and I would hate for my account to reach avoid me for again, false reasoning. Please help.

    You can't rate people on the xbox one.

    You'll need to play games with people and have them rate you up. For the time being you can only play online if a friend invites you to their game or, I've heard that Battlefield 4 will allow you to play.

    Reputation is based on play, and not just reports. The Enforcement Team, nor Xbox support can do assist with reputation issues. Only the user can do anything to change their reputation . Play a wider variety of games and follow the advice

    here    .

    If you're not breaking any of the Code of Conduct rules you won't get suspended regardless of the number of reports received.

    I just find it weird that I start playing competitive mode on overwatch and all of the sudden watch my reports shoot up. Now my reputation is changed. Quite a coincidence I guess lol. Considering I haven't done anything wrong. Wish you guys would actually
    take time to look at people reported instead of just having an auto reputation system that anyone could abuse. I shouldn't have to play multiple games to enjoy xbox live. but okay thanks anyway.

    No. Though your reputation score can be impacted after accumulating legitimate negative feedback, spamming someone with unwarranted or baseless complaints (even from a large number of players) will not unfairly result in a lower reputation.
    Indeed, only valid complaints/reputation reports count. If all members of the team report for team killing, then those are all valid, but any other friends reporting won't as they haven't played with the gamer.

    False complaints can lead to the false complainer being given a suspension instead.
