Reputation decrease

Bonjour, je note que ma réputation commence diminuer et depuis que je commence jouer sur le live de Gears Of War Ultimate.

Lorsque je joue je suis toujours en chat privé et n'est donc aucun contact audio avec les autres joueurs. De plus il m'est peut-être arrivé une fois ou deux d'envoyer un message (sans aucune violence) juste pour prévenir la personne d'arrêter d'avoir un
comportement immature dans le jeu.

Votre système de réputation est particulièrement mal géré car pour des personne comme moi qui ne jouent qu'avec des amis et en privé, il est fréquent de battre l'équipe adverse plate couture. Et souvent, comme ce l'était sur la xbox 360, les votes négatifs
abusifs commencent pleuvoir. Donc sauf si l'on peut me fournir la preuve que j'ai été blaissant/insultant un grand nombre de fois envers des joueurs que j'ai réellement rencontrés j'accepterai les sanctions. Mais l j'ai simplement l'impression d'avoir
faire un système qui ne fait pas la différence entre les joueurs mal intentionnés et la réalité sur le xbox live.

Si pour le prouver je dois commencer évaluer négativement tout les joueurs qui me battent sur le multijoueur de gears of war ou qui on un comportement dégradant (comme réaliser certaines actions dégradantes dans le jeu) vous vous retrouverez avec de nombreuses
réputations abaisser.

I note that my reputation began to decrease since I started playing on Gears Of War Ultimate Edition mutliplayer live.

When I play I'm still in private chat and therefore I don't have any audio contacts with other players (even with vocal messages because I don't send this kind of message). Furthermore it may happened to me once or twice to send a message (without violence)
just to prevent anyone to stop being immature behavior in the game.

Your reputation system is particularly poorly managed because for someone like me who play with friends in private, it is common to beat the other team. And often, as it was on the Xbox 360, negative votes began to rain. So unless you can provide me evidence
that I was blaissant / insulting a number of times to the players that I actually met I will accept the sanctions. But then I just feel I have to make a system that does not distinguish between malicious players and the reality on the xbox live.

If I have to vote negatively all the players who beat me on the multiplayer gears of war or who had a degrading behavior (such perform certain degrading actions in the game) you'll end up with many reputations lower.

To conclude, I looked the enforcement section with the negative vote I got and I saw :

- 2/3 vote for trichery : on Gears of war multiplayer I believe it's just a joke (or I would like to see the video with my GT where there was trichery)

- 2/3 votes for vocal communications : as I said I only play in party chat so no contact with players

- 2 votes for anti-sportif behavior : what is a anti-sportif behavior in the game ? Playing with some ranged weapons ? Since when it is forbiden ? Again I just wait for a video proof because it's too easy to get negative votes without any clues.

- 3 votes for messages : it's probably the only one who can be true but here again I don't send trash messages and I'm not insulting (if I was oce I apologize and was certainly in response to player provocation or insulting content)

issue with my account

Hello my GT is recently changed from Sombra smurf, for the past 3 months I have had the reputation status of avoid me however 2 days ago that reputation increased to needs work allowing me to play games with no restrictions during this period
I have done nothing that would be seen as valid to decrease my reputation back to avoid me I am sure and guarantee you if you review my case you will find nothing that can be seen as a valid reason for this reputation system to cause my status to go back to
avoid. I have been browsing through this forum for some time now and there are countless posts on how flawed the Xbox reputation system is for the past 4+ years yet I see no changes or actions being taken against this.

 

Silencers

To me, the silencers have been the same in every CoD since 4. Even though the stats don't reflect damage decrease, it still decreases. Pretty dumb because silencers do not decrease damage.

Yeah thanks ! But what seems unfair for some isn't for others. So if I want to play Gears using powerweapon and many other gamers find this "too strong and so unsport" I took bad feedback and finally get my reputation decreasing ? Is that it ? And you think
THIS is fair ?

I would like xbox live just stop kidding us and stop this poor reputation system where you pay the price for being or good or playing with some weapons others don't like !

I only play Gears of War as multiplayer game so you just tell me that I need to change the way I play this game to just please everybody ? Seriously ?

I hope this will change fast because everybody knows that gears of war community is pretty well known to overreact when they lose or when they don't like being killed with power weapons....

Just send some proof that I had bad behavior on this game and I will accept my reputation to be lowered ! I never chat with others people because I'm always in party chat. I barely never send trash messages... So I'm just judge by players on the way I play.
If this way don't please I get bad feedback !

 

If you are getting a bad rep is all the community that is telling you to change the way you face gaming. Being a good gamer doesn't involves getting aggressive and abusing other players, so try to be a good sport and try to fit with the online community.

Every society got it's regulations and if you are not able to follow them of course you will be left alone and that means solo campaigns.

Get time to reflect on this and you will understand that in the core of it all is only one solution: Be a good sport and enjoy gaming for gaming sake!

 

I know what you want to say but you can't definitely say me that a game need guideline to play multiplayer ! It's absurd !

I will take example on Gears of War because It's almost the only MP game I play. The goal of this game is to win, by anyway (ranged kills, double bash, chainsaw....). There's no agressive way or abusing way (only those guy who play with you when you're down
but not my case). There's no right way to kill someone in a MP game.

What I mean is that if I want to play competitive I will face some players that judge this way to play is inapropriate and unsport and are able to give bad feedback. I'm sorry but this is bulls**t. It's the same as penalizing someone who play a MMORPG with
a character who's known to be overpowerded ! It's not the gamer fault but developers fault. You play with tools that are given to you. Players should not have their word to say.

So I'm sorry but I don't have to take time to think on this. If I want to be someone of bad faith I will just report every single guy on gears of war that T-bag you or *** you while you're down... and you know what, every single gears of war player did this
once. It's not disrecpect it's part of the game. I'm not agree with this but this is a fact. If I start to report every single guy that play a way I don't like it's the begening of non-sense reputation feedback.

So to be clear, if you don't send messages to other players, if you talk only with your friend in private party chat, there's no way you get bad reputation. Well.....no you get it because every body don't like the way you play, the way you win ! ANd THIS
is anormal. I repeat it, players shouldn't have their word to say when it comes to gameplay, game balance. Reputation isn't construct on the way you play but IMO on what kind of gamers you meet online, if it's a raging guy who doesn't like to lose you get
bad feedback.

And to be clear, I play gears of war for about 4000 hours so yes I'm pretty good at it and when I do 70-5 kill/death and my opponent don't succeed to reach 15 kills, it's not my fault but I often receive messages that say "noob", "*** connection".... Ok,
well. I'll not report this because it is known this game have some MP issues. But if someone send me racist messages or other trash talk, there yes I report it.

You have to admitt that this reputation system has serious issues ! It's ok if it's about trash talk, messages.... but unsport behavior ! In a game where you have to win by anyway ? I use tool provide by the game mechanics, if someone don't like this so
he just had to stop playing this game instead of giving bad feedback.

To have a better reputation avoid activity that other players are likely to view as unfair or unsportsmanlike and avoid making unsportsmanlike comments.

Same experience as others are discribing. I haven't been "unsporting" (teabagging, trash talk, ext) however people that I have been matched up against in rainbow six siege that are at a lower skill get upset and report me for that. So now my reputation is
needs work. I have only been banned once for voice for calling someone a name. I believe it was a three day ban. Other than that no issues. But now my reputstion is "needs work" BECAUSE of poor sports.

 

Then you don't know how the rep works then

Each report is reviewed and scored for accuracy by the pet

Rep reports dont nessarily equate a suspension but would equate a rep declduction

Think of it like this

Your rep is based on how people perceive your behaviour not how you perceive it just like in real life

You may think you are perfect but others think you are annoying or disruptive

There is no reset button on rep in real life

 

And fyi 99.9% of player's in live regardless of the game don't have issues with rep

I probably have a couple bad rep but that doesn't meant they are accurate and I can say I don't have bad rep

 

All you need to do is change your behaviour and win correctly not win badly
