At least the term "Entitlement" suddenly seems to have vanished with the beards that it came from.

 

Oh no, the Self-entitled are still numerous.

 

In my experience I have unjustly been Bricked before with the only explanation being put simply "Microsoft only bricks cheaters etc" "once bricked Microsoft cannot unbrick consoles" which I consider complete bologna this was 5 years ago needless to say I
got my 360 unbricked, 1500 Microsoft points and 3 Months Xbox live for the inconvenience. So I have very little faith in the whole code of conduct thing being the only reason a person would have gotten banned etc. I have never cheated, never bought 3rd party
accessories that couldve caused what was my supposed breach of conduct.

Short version is yeah the code of conduct is nice and all but it's not perfect and no one should take it as if it were 100% the law as it can be found to be faulty

 

Unsporting and language aside as I know all to well how 'unsporting' etc Rep discriminates against handicapped gamers, but now the only way for anyone to view their rep is to log into enforcement?

Whats MS so afraid of that it has to hide everything, rep included. Offsite?

The vast majority of reasons why people get banned is their own interpretation of the Code of Conduct. In a lot of cases, it's not the REP System that is at fault - it's people's behavior and lack of exercising a good conscience, that gets them into trouble.
Retaliating (even mildly) to someone who abuses you, just makes you as bad as them. You need to learn to simply walk away from those situations. And teens can have that level of SELF DISCIPLINE. People with self discipline tend to do better in life, in education,
in work. Depends on the way you've been brought up. The Code of Conduct for the most part is common sense and conscience. If you struggle with that, you're likely gonna struggle with not breaking the law. Cause governments to design laws which also too - are
based off common sense and conscience and safety and having good behavior. And retaliating against someone or using bad language bullying gamertag shamming, is NOT an example of good behavior. If someone does hurt to you, leave it up to the authorities, Microsoft,
your government, to issue discipline.

Appotroopers, I completely agree with you here. I received a 24 hour ban (only one I have ever received) after 8 years. A warning would have been nice and it is also how nearly EVERY other enforcement system I have come across works. Microsoft should revise
their policy and realize that reading a document is absolutely not a warning. It is an agreement (hence the need to agree to it after reading). It is highly unreasonable to expect players to remember all the rules especially after such a long period of time.
A warning is when you are foretold that you have made an infraction of some sort and further infractions will result in a punishment. Microsoft did NOT give you a warning neither did it give me one.

 

On Xbox 360's system, on your console, it tells you which % of people get marked down for certain areas. In younger peeps, it's mostly quitting early, not sticking STRICTLY to the game rules at all times, some oldy grump enters a Forza 6 Playground multiplayer
playlist and has a hissy about peeps 20-30 years younger than them, are ramming each other which, is encouraged by the game developer (in virus tag, you're meant to ram vehicles instead of "excuse me, can you be it?".

Google Xbox Enforcement. It should provide you with an obvious link where you should be able to check out your rep etc.

Congrats to you though, for lasting 6 whole years! Most can't get by even their first year before they're reported for one thing or another....

 

No warning here either. The people trying to defend the current enforcement policy are a bunch of social justice warriors that don't understand the difference between a warning and an agreement. I can only hope English is not their
first language or they're under the age of 12. A warning would've been nice. Its the least they could do sense they choose to sensor our speech.
