  1. Reputation: Avoid Me

    Hi there,

My reputation is on avoid me after being good just two days ago. I have not interacted negatively with anyone at all. I don't understand how this could be happening and I would really like some justification or details of this action. I have done my research
on the web and also spoken to Microsoft Tech Support and they say the only way to get my rep fixed is to play games with other people and not get reported. However, I only play Destiny and there's absolutely no way for me to match with anyone. I have tried
finding a match 3 nights in a row for hours and hours and not once has it even successfully found ONE other player to play with...

I would understand if I did something to deserve this, but I did not. I haven't sent any bad messages, or played with anyone other than my friends. Please provide justification for this. I have been an avid Xbox player for 15 years or so and I have been
loyal and spent thousands of dollars on Microsoft products. I treat people with respect online and I've never cheated in any game. My connection has always been great as well.

Please someone out there help me because I don't see how I can improve my reputation if I can't play any matches with anybody on Xbox Live Reputation: Avoid Me :( I would like for someone to look into my case specifically and explain to me why this happened to my account. Any
and every link you can provide here in terms of explaining the reputation system, don't bother posting because I've already read them - they do not help at all.

    This really sucks.

    Thanks,

Ryan <-- A loyal Xbox gamer in need of help.

    :)

    Reputation: Avoid Me

The Xbox Live reputation system incorporates all the feedback that you’ve received during your last few weeks of multiplayer sessions to determine your reputation. Different types of feedback are weighted differently and our Policy & Enforcement Team often
verifies feedback accuracy. There are automated safeguards to ensure sure that feedback is accurate.

If you get a large number of reports from other gamers, your reputation might drop to “Needs Work.” You’ll get a warning message from Xbox that you’re having a negative impact on other people and other gamers will see a “Needs Work” warning bar on your profile.
It typically takes over a dozen unique reports or several dozen mutes for your reputation to drop down to “Needs Work.”

If you continue to get reported for your conduct after you’ve entered “Needs Work,” the system sends you another message as a final warning. If you ignore this second message and get reported a few more times, you’ll enter the “Avoid Me” reputation classification.

To better your rep the best way is to play coop games with a large pool of different gamers (Neverwinter mentioned as a possible way to up your rep)

  5. @M3tal Daz3 but I checked my reputation at
    enforcement.xbox.com/.../reputation
and I have 25 total reports in the last 6 months it says. I also NEVER received any warning from Xbox. If you work for Microsoft, you can verify this by looking into my message history. Not once have I ever received
any kind of warning for this. Also, my reputation was "good" and went immediately to "Avoid Me" in a matter of HOURS - this can also probably be verified by some sort of log for the reputation system.

I also have 5 reports for cheating, something I've never done in any game ever, so these reports should be nullified, which takes me down to 20 total reports in the last SIX MONTHS - yet you are saying it requires several DOZEN reports just to bring me into
    the "needs work" range.

So your answer, although thorough, does not solve my problem nor does it apply to me. As someone who has been so loyal to Xbox over the years, I expect a real explanation that applies to ME SPECIFICALLY. I'm sorry for the caps and I'm sorry if my tone
seems angry, but literally every single logical explanation I can refute immediately, as well as prove that I've never received any warnings from Xbox.

Please help me understand. This is not cool.

And he is correct the per team does check your behaviour which doesnt always include tou violations

But unspottkna like behaviournlike excessive bragging or non communication.

    Excessivr cursing etc

Ita not really difficult to win good

But if you continue to win badly you will remain in bad rep just like in real life

Noome but you can fix your rep

  9. @ngocphi I haven't exhibited bad behavior is my point.... at one point I used to message people etc when I lost and said stupid things... this led to a justified reputation of "needs work" - so I changed my behavior right then and there and worked my way
back up to "good", which it has been for over 2 months, even up through 9/16 and then all of a sudden BOOM "avoid me". For what....? I didn't do anything, so you're totally missing my point. It's like you have this assumption that all "avoid me" reputations
are deserved 100% of the time - when this is simply not true. Thank you for your suggestions now please move on so I can hopefully get a real explanation.

playing more games without changing your bad behaviour won't help

Your best option is to read the online feedback from your enforcement reputation to see what exactly bothers people about your behaviour
