Repressive Authoritarian

Xbox enforcement & code of conduct has become completely repressive and authoritarian.

It's got to a point where people are getting a 14 day ban for trash talking, when did Xbox live become the thought police?

Yesterday evening I received a 14 day Comms ban for calling someone a [Mod Removed]for combat logging during a ranked match of rainbow six siege after I downed him so I couldn't get the kill. he shortly returned to the match with no penalty,
I responded to this by messaging him what I admit is a derogatory term but seriously?

Stamping out hate speech is what we should be aspiring for but banning people in order to protect their feelings over a subjective word is ridiculous and repressive code of conduct needs to be reviewed.

lol 3 years after the original post and still, theyre useless. They ban acounts just because they think something happined. horrible investigations and authoritarian antisocial and power hungry.

Did that work fire you votedc? Beast that sound like it's solve my problem however I on another site i saw a microsoft repressive say that creating the same email won't fox it and well mckee things even more confusing. Can I get an official word on this

It's not a subjective word that you used. You admitted that it "is a derogatory" term.

If you read through the
Xbox Live Code of Conduct, you will see that you calling someone that word is against the Code of Conduct.

Since the person seemed offended by your message, they reported it. And the Enforcement Team has to take every report seriously.

If I were to call you stuff like that, you would also be offended and report me.

Would you be okay if you reported me, and I would NOT get a suspension for calling you something like that?
