Reporting Players

Can we pass the word around that Xbox Phone Support can do nothing in regard to reporting a player and they will always refer you to report them on your console? It will save a lot of time on hold for a lot of people. I understand it's frustrating when you
file that complaint and nothing happens right away, but please understand that every complaint is investigated and yes, that means when brats out there file tons of false complaints it slows down the response time. Please just be patient, block that person,
mute them if they come in your game, but don't waste your time calling in to xbox support because there isn't anything they can do about it.

As a 57 year old husband, father, grandad, it is a long since I was in a school yard.... ( My privacy settings are friends only )

So, I have 2 options, # 1 ask all my friends to " block " they`re friends list, ( and check they do so )..... # 2 kick every-one on my friends list as 1 could be a " fifth-columnist "

So , LostKauz and Civiks , If 1 of your friends asked you to " block" your friends list and then kick some-one who you think is aiding this stalker , what would be your reply to that request ? If they said NO to your plea for help, will you kick them.

Well, at least Support is actually telling people to report players on the console. Normally, they tell people to come on the forums and post about their problems which gets nothing done.

I agree. Xbox users please understand that the user you report are being investigated and action is being taken. There is a forum with overwhelming evidence that users are being suspended and banned. If you run into an issue file a complaint and move
on.

Maybe, a push to get all the support deparments on the same page, is a good idea

Bing wants me to use someone elses information to prove who I am.......

I do think information is wrong a lot of the time. Although, User error has a big part in this issue...

Phone support tells people to post here, just as much as web support tells people to call them....

Remember SUPPORT is different then General Discussion......

Is there any way you can contact the website host and let them know about the individual and what they were doing in the game?

That is another alternative to the 2 previous answers and will help the 'hosts' be able to block individuals that are cheating in games.

hello I would like to report a player [Mod removed do not name and shame on the forums] on gta 4 tbogt xbox 360 game and the traffic there is every player freez it becomes unbearable to play has done something thank you

I know that messaging a menacing player is not the best solution, but my son got into a map on MW3 ( about 2 minutes left). He kept killing the "top" enemy. After match, he received several harrassing messages from said player. When told he had been reported,
he answered that he had 4 accounts and didn't care. My son sent him 1 last message that ANY messages from his other accounts would be reported and blocked. Hopefully, that worked. But as others have said, just avoid and block them. M$ seems to be doing a better
job with handling these LOSERS!
