    Reporting players not working


    In the past few weeks of playing xbox I have had multiple people message me and call me very vulgar names (n word, f word, etc) and everytime I report them nothing happens. It's like my reports aren't even being looked at. What should I do?

    That system is the one that works and has worked for the past 16 years. You report a player, and Microsoft reviews the report. If the actions break the Xbox Live Code of Conduct, they will be suspended due to that. If they are simply bad sports, the report
    is still logged, and in time will begin to affect that player's reputation. When it drops to a certain level ("avoid me"), they will only be matched with other players with that same reputation level.

    If you're reporting a player in a third-party title, you should also consider reporting through that publisher's services, which can also take appropriate action.

    That is the only way of reporting other players. They get thousands of reports everyday and they have to work through them.

    naming and shamming? I'm reporting. There should be a better way to report a player besides just the gamer profile... I work for xbox support and I know for a fact there's no other way to report players... reporting through the gamer profiles doesn't help...
    nothing gets done.

    Hey there Rivo,

    Is there any way you can contact the website host and let them know about the individual and what they were doing in the game?

    That is another alternative to the 2 previous answers and will help the 'hosts' be able to block individuals that are cheating in games.

    Click their gamertag and file a complaint im afraid its the only method
