Reporting in-game behaviour

So I was playing some Gears 3 earlier, and I played about seven matches with some guy (I shall refer to them as X). Now, X and I were on opposing teams until the last match, where we were on the same team. For the next 3 rounds of that final match, X would
follow me around, deliberately get in my way, shoot at me, steal my kills, and would generally act in a manner that would suggest he didn't want me on his team. It must have bothered X that I didn't react at all to his antics, but whatever.

So I sent in a player review to avoid X, and I wanted to file a complaint, as bullying is against the Xbox Live Code of Conduct.

But there were no categories to submit the complaint under:

- X's gamertag isn't offensive at all.

- X didn't send any messages (text or other), and

- X hasn't modded their console as far as I know. Plus, that's not what I wanted to report X for.

I am wanting to file a proper complaint about X's behaviour, but I'm not sure how. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

My chance to vent

^Anyone can do so by reporting the post in the normal way and saying un-ambassador conduct/behaviour and it will reach the appropriate people.

The player review is the only applicable action in this case. While he is displaying "unsportsmanlike conduct" he's not breaking the CoC. To bully you he'd have to communicate with you or physically harm/intimidate you. He didn't do the former and can't
do the latter. Everything he's doing is within the mechanics of the game.

 

@ Gutter Yuppie: I'd consider it bullying, as every second of that match, X was either in my face, shooting at me, or trying to whack me with his weapon.

But I guess you're right; if he didn't send any communications, he's not breaking the code of conduct. Thanks for that

@ Maximum Trash: Are YOU serious? It's pretty obvious your pea brain only saw "kill steals" and you've just assumed I'm a sore loser. Following someone else around for the entire match to intimidate them is not "game fun". Perhaps I should do it to you,
then you could be more justified in having a cry about "gamers like me" who ruin everything.

 

All you can really do is submit a player review on unsporting conduct.

And sorry to say it, but I wouldn't really call it bullying. If he decided to follow you into every match, then I'd understand, but this was just one time right? And he was just being a nuisance?

I've encountered that thing a lot in COD, just ignore them and find a new lobby. Reporting them wont do anything about it.

 

I am on this forum to protect my account. Ive never had any problems with player behavior until today. I died on the raid in destiny, and this really mean guy who was yelling at everyone, said i was so bad he was going to "take my account and delete it".
im not sure if he meant hack my account, but please help me! i dont want to lose my account. His gamertag is
[Mod Removed]. I dont normally tattle tail but i just want to ensure my account's safety. I am a reputable member of the xbox community, and proudly for 7 years, and never have trouble with anyone. Thank you for helping.

 

You are not allowed to call out gamertags on the forums.The ONLY way to report someone is via your console,it can't be done anywhere else.

No one can hack & delete your account,it was just an empty threat so no need to worry.

 

@ Dr Black Bones: You're entitle to your opinion on whether it was bullying or not. But the point of this thread wasn't to argue about what is and isn't bullying lol. Thanks for your response; I guess I've done all I can to avoid the player. Just wanted
to know if there was anything extra I could do to report him.

@ Platinum Penguin: I started this thread to get advice on reporting this particular instance. Your case is very simple: report the gamer for being nasty, and block him if you want. Easy. Do NOT post his gamertag on the forums; it's against the forum policy.
