I just want to report an incident with a gamer, it all started when i played the game, I was AFC only for a tiny bit helping with dinner when I was away from the console came back upstairs and my brother said I got betrayed 3 times and had messages from
this user that had swearing in them and i was on the halo mcc and on the Xbox one and the person's gamertag is [Mod Removed]is the person doing this stuff to other xbox live players.

I don't know if that person is a female or male, but the person has made some comments about me and my friends. Some of the jokes were racist but somewhat funny. But when I was telling my friends how unlucky that my cousin die of lung cancer a couple of
years back: but my uncle who smokes a lot is still living. The person told me I should have died as well. The person did not apologize after that comment. After the comment I tried my best to evade the person and block him/her. I feel like that nothing has
been done.

Just throwing this in as a little extra info.

Start here for help reporting users, and how to handle harassment.

This guide has a step by step guide on how to go about changing your online safety settings. Who you are visible too, who can communicate with you etc while using LIVE. You can always just report/block users individually as the need occurs if you wanted to
keep your profile open to all on LIVE. Rather than restricting your online activity etc to just your friends.

If you haven't do so already, you would need to file a complaint on them via the console in order for the enforcement team to investigate him. Calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums.

I have reported him. I contacted support and they said to come here and fill out a forum post.

The best course of action you can take is to File a Complaint, Block
Communications with the Player, Mute the Player , and Submit a Player Review and Avoid the Player for each
player you feel is violating the Code of Conduct or Terms of Use. Just make sure not to send the player a message
after you block them as it will unblock this player. The enforcement team will eventually catch up to the player(s) and they will take the appropriate action against the individual(s). Just be patient and give it some time as the Enforcement Team wants to
ensure they are 100% certain in their investigation before taking any action. Also, it is against forum rules to post offending gamertags. Hope this clarifies what action you should take.

Sorry, but support is incorrect when it comes to name changes. If you want to change your son's gamertag you will need to pay to change it. The enforcement team only issues forced changes when a gamertag violates the code of conduct. If your son is being
bullied at school, you would need to talk to his school about that. If he is being harrassed on Live, he would need to block communications with those people and file complaints on them via the console.
