    Reporting constant abuse question


    I just started getting abusive messages on my xbox ( 35 so far ) from a player i never contacted or spoke to them in game but he/she writes the messages in a way that if i report them i think they may go unnoticed (one letter at a time for offensive words then a short sentence for non offensive words) and i’m worried if i report all the messages i will get banned for spamming reports.I’ve blocked them but if he does it to me for no apparent reason he probably does it to others.

    There's really no need to report each message. You can report 1 and leave more information for the enforcement team so they know to check the others.

    I had the exact same problem aswell and a very abusive scotsman that ruined the game for everyone, with his personal attacks and constant swearing, just hope the others reported him aswell!

    All I'm saying is it needs to be implemented in a fair way that stops people just being able to spam it whenever, fair or not it can still get you suspended just by the number of reports.
    Not true. You can be reported a million times and not get suspended. In fact, the other person can be suspended for filing false complaints. But you can be suspended off just 1 report if you do something to violate the code of conduct.

    Well that's all I'm asking for that you have to put effort in to report someone to potentially have them suspended. At least that way reporting people will not be abused like its is. If you don't like someone or what they say block them and never deal with
    them again. Xbox live should be a free platform to communicate with people from all over without fear of being banned because you said f**k. I Don't disagree with a report system just not in the way it is now. The system is flawed Microsoft have basically
    given everyone a ban button and to save them from ridicule they've given responsibility to another team that are incompetent but Microsoft don't get ridiculed or questioned about a flawed system, people just accept it better yet defend it.
