Reporting code of conduct violations

I have been an avid xbox player my whole life starting when i bought the xbox in 2001, and it shows how the sensitivity of xbox live has gravely increased over all these years. Many competitive T or M rated games back then would draw in a multitude of
aggressive messages from others and lets be honest any one playing now adays was around the age of a child back then. My intent in bringing this up is to express why xbox enforcement has declined so much these passed few years. People or should I say trolls
and others simply just bored with xbox will start harassing you over anything possible, now im totally fine with taking the high road and blocking and reporting these types of people. However ever since xbox made it available for anyone to own a vast number
of accounts off one gold membership, this tactic no longer works efficiently. Ive had several players message me over the years as I play a lot of competitive games and theyll tell me to
[Mod removed]myself or go [Mod removed- profanity]
myself etc and after blocking them I very rarely receive notification from xbox live saying theyve taken action on it. On the odd chance they do take action against these abusers, moments later a new account ive never seen begins harassing me over the context
of the last conversation, this issue is caused by everyone owning multiple accounts. These types of players go about the community harassing players knowing that xbl enforcement will most likely take action on the retaliator instead of the instigator, and
i will admit several times ive retaliated in the past and this is solely due to the fact that i was raised to defend myself if nobody else will, and as cliche as that sounds, am i really expected to just accept hateful spam until the other moves onto the next
or runs out of accounts to message me with? Enforcement needs to understand that people are using report in a manner that is not defensive but more so offensive, giving them the power to silence anyone who does not take peoples
[Mod removed- profanity](excuse my language pls dont comm bann me) and with this type of abuse of power i would hope that xbl would have an unbiased view on laying the ban hammer, Ive had smurf accounts message me calling me retard autistic
faggot etc and because Ive been comm banned in the past and theyre on a fresh account, I'll get a two week ban for telling them to "s-t
[Mod removed- profanity]" after i already blocked their 3-5 other accounts. This is really my only concern with how xbox live treats it members and its a major issue because we pay for this content just to have toxic players bend around the
rules and avoid any punishment all while ruining others experience of the community. Ive never been one offended by words and this overly sensitive community xbl has created has only given more motivation to the trolls and cancerous account creations that
will harass and belittle you until you snap and respond or sign off live until theyve moved on, sure notifications can be turned off but I shouldnt have to ignore my friends because of some 25 year old man child who said he was going to have me swat'd for
stealing his kill, is offended because I told him to [Mod removed- profanity]off BRING BACK THE OLD XBOX COMMUNTY YOU GUYS SHAPED SOME REAL ADULTS WHO KNOW NOT TO LET WORDS BRING UPON THEIR DEMISE

Block ignore and report that all you are allowed ro do period

Snd there is even another solution for your problem set contacts to friends only

Then why respond in a manner as if im one of these people here complaining about getting banned, I could care less about talking to people anymore on xbl however your solution only applies to the older system of one account per membership, sorry for my
bitterness

How do you know they're avoiding punishment? Do you judge this by the fact that a person you reported is still playing online and sending messages, minutes, hours or even days after you filed your report/s? That's not how enforcement works, it's not automated.
Enforcement don't usually tell you when action has been taken.

The enforcement system works fine for Xbox Live sharing. If multiple accounts on the same console get suspensions - which will happen by the way - the console itself will be banned.

There is no need to 'Defend yourself'. It does not matter how offensive the message was or what it contained, all you need to do is report and block. That is the best and only form of defence you need.

Please be mindful of the Code of Conduct here on the forums and refrain from using or inferring profanity. You'll find these references removed by the forum moderators.

I find that players are using foreign languages as a way to tease, chide, and even harass others. But if you defend yourself in English, suspension is swift. Even after asking the moderators to look at the issue or offering to show video of the ongoing
harassment - nothing is done. The last time I was suspended was due to players celebrating 9-11. There is a limit to tolerance.

In those situations just report the other people and block them. It doesn't matter how a situation starts. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you will be punished. This is per the rules you agreed to.

The enforcement team rarely sends any notifications when they do take action on someone you report, but it doesn't mean they aren't looking into it and taken action.

If you cant be bothered to read my entire posting then dont tell me what I agreed to as Im already aware, and that is not the issue, blocking one persons account is no longer the end all to abusive spam if someone can keep switching accounts to continue harassing,
