Reporting abusive players.

I was suspended from communications recently for 24 hours and I have an idea of what it might have been for so I accepted it seeing as it was fair. What is not fair however is that abusive players on Xbox do not get suspended. I was told to not retaliate
and instead file a complaint and so that is what I have been doing. However none of these abusive people are getting suspended. It is unfair for one party in an abusive conversation to get suspended and it feels like the complaint system is a lottery; no matter
how minor or major your 'crime' is you have an equal chance of getting suspended. And I know investigations take time but I have waited long enough. If action is not taken against abusive people on Xbox who are harassing and insulting people then I will have
no choice but to defend myself in a reasonable manner appropriate for the situation. So why aren't these people getting suspended?

Well me and my friend Ivantorres228 are getting bullied by a player . Hes telling us rude stuff . He really hurted my friend . he made fun of him cause hes voice was different . he was calling us racits names . He told me that I should go back to Mexico
. Its makes me sad because I myself i am a mexican . He told my friend to suck ******** . my friend was sad . He said that he was going to hack us . i am scared .

It lowers the chance of you being paired with the avoided individual.

 

Action isn't instant when you file a complaint against a player.

The enforcement team has to investigate the complaint first.

How do you know these people haven't had a comms suspension?

 

As I have mentioned: 'And I know investigations take time but I have waited long enough.' And I know they have not been suspended from communicating because they are still going about their business and messaging people.

 

redraptor987 I understand your frustration over that matter. I would reccommend you just label the players as Avoid Me and just move o. Yes there are alot of players out there who harass and break rules but there are plenty of other's just like yourself
that want to play and have a good time. If you keep filter them you will end up with a lot of good people to game with

Why do they keep ignoring my posts? The post is exactly what I have posted here. It is perfectly acceptable. So if someone is a moderator can you please approve my post? Thank you.

 

They wont reply,the suspension forums are only there to enquire about a ban/suspension.

Even if they did you would get told the same thing I've already posted.

Unless you monitor a player 24/7 I don't see how you would know if someone has had a comm suspension or not.

 

And look at this way: if someone got a suspension they would learn their lesson. They wouldn't carry on messaging.

 

You'd be surprised the amount of people who don't learn a lesson from being suspended.

The length of the suspension will increase each time & then a perma ban is issued if they carry on getting suspended for the same thing.

 

I had a question about comms suspensions. I know it goes 1 day comms suspension, 7 day, 14 day. What happens after 14 days? Do they start to give you temporary service suspensions or do they go straight to a permaban after that?

 

I varies on the severity of the communications I think.

You might get a service suspension but it's usually a perma ban judging by the ban/suspension forum posts I've seen.

 

Actually - depending on the severity of the communication abuse - they can issue you a more severe suspension even if it was your first offense. Usually when you use hate speech- racial slurs and threats of Network manipulation - then tend to come down
harder.
