reported an account earlier today because they said they had my IP address and other offensive stuff. I hope xbox removes his account permantely cuz it scares my kids .

Xbox Live Perma Ban (Unban)

is it possible to unban an account as mine was marketplace fraud for things a hacker did. I have the account for like 5 years now and all the account on it is gone. can you report the account enough for the ban to be overwritten and cancelled. If so can you please report Pro5ebsterHD on xbox it would really help me out with the ban thanks.

This should definitely be reported. Yes, you should take steps to protect yourself, like getting a new IP address and setting up a new user account, but report the activity to Microsoft. It will most likely result in a ban for this member, which he can set up a new account with a new name and IP, but maybe you can block him? If you find out how to block him, then you can just keep blocking every time they send you something. If hes just sending you messages just delete, report and ignore.

Just be sure to keep that person muted, blocked, and ignore them completely. That last part is especially important.

If doesn't matter what another account did or did not do if you break the code of conduct your are subject to a suspension.

You should log into the enforcement team website for information where you can also submit a case review if the suspension is eligible.

it is strange that if the account was stolen the first priority wasn't to remedy that situation but to continue to message with the stolen account? Sorry I am confused, either way the forums cannot assist this would be an issue for microsoft enforcement
and perhaps even the authorities.

I have and failed qestion part for not knowing you can't have a purple avatar.... and another question on my second attempt I do not remember because the avatar question I failed had me so mad. I rarely use the avatar feature so how the heck would I know
that. The account that was stolen is a friend of mine and we have spoken over the phone about this and he has reported that account as well. Seems to me that only concerns on their end is if someone says anything that will hurt someone's feelings and not for
enforcing theft or more important issues.
