@Cloud If they did do an emulator app sort of thing, I would hope they do allow us to re download or stream our purchased 360 games. Although I can't see it happening. Would be pretty sweet though.

Mind you, I won't be getting shut of my 360 either, so I suppose it matters not.

 

It sure would mate! It would only be fair I guess but I suppose we will have to wait and see eh

Xbox 360 titles are on standard DVD discs. They have never been available on HD DVD. The discs themselves are readable just fine by the Xbox One's optical drive.

 

Rock band. Various Kinect games and of course all the arcade games would make my Xbox one more fun. I remember the 360 BC for games that were not made available for the 360. I still can't figure out why gtav online is not playable on the x1. I am guessing
to qualify for x1 branding you need to match certain graphic specs and on paper gtav doesn't add up. But like pong and pacman. Who cares if its fun.

 

I here there is massive input lag when you connect the xbox 360 hdmi cable into the hdmi in on the xbox one. @Hell Fire

 

GTA V wasn't developed for Xbox One because Rockstar said they didn't need to. They said the older consoles were more than capable of running the game and they didn't want to spend extra time and expense making the nex gen version. Bringing the game to Xbox
One is not as simple as printing the name on the disc, the whole game would have to be reworked.

 

I downloaded Gears of War 3 and Halo 3 on my Xbox 360 so if this happens I hope I don't have to pay for them again.

@Wild: Catching up? To my knowledge, their competitor hasn't implemented this feature yet either - until they do, catching up doesn't apply. As far as looking and doing. you're right.

 

^ It's already here, I'm the 1st person to try it by taping a 360 to an xb1, it totally works. Didn't even need the cloud.

So people think the X1 HDD is small and now they think its good to fill it up with 360 games also? I'll just stick with the 360 beside my X1.

 

Well if the x1 is like a pc and a pc can run an emulator, I suppose it could work, but aren't emulators rather unstable? kinda? If they can make it work, it would be a very nice addition to the x1.
