    replacement xbox one console is super laggy streaming to windows 10 xbox app


    my first xbox one console was faulty but streamed flawlessly. It was faulty because it was showing flashing lights and colors on the screen. so I returned it to Walmart and got another one this one works perfectly except the streaming is so laggy its unplayable.
    I didn't have this issue on the last one. I am streaming with the exact same wired network on the exact same laptop, nothing has changed except the console itself is different.

    any ideas whats going on? I have reset the console 2 or 3 times and tested it on my high end gaming desktop 2 feet away both wired and it was still laggy so its not my router or anything.

    Xbox App missing stream buttons

    Hi, I have recently upgraded my OS from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 Pro N.

    I have installed Windows Media Feature Pack - still Xbox app is without streaming options.

    I have also reinstalled Xbox App, with Powershell commands.

    Still, no options to receive stream from Xbox One console to Windows 10

    I second the statement as well the aforementioned links are not addressing the question at hand. Which is how does one stream from their local CONSOLE to their Windows 10 PC in the "New Xbox App for Windows 10" which is replacing the "Xbox Console Companion"

    Hello amramlinebarger, sorry to hear you're having trouble.

    The Xbox Console Companion app is mainly for Windows 10 and allows you to stream your Xbox One to One X consoles on Windows 10. This app does not work with the Series X/S consoles though and the Xbox app is recommended for streaming to your PC if you're running Windows 11.

    If you are running Windows 11 the only way we'd ask you to try installing the app is if you were having trouble with your Xbox games just to see if that would help.
