    Replacement Xbox Arrived Broken


    So we made a warranty claim for an Xbox One S which was only a few months old and suffered the common graphics issue stuck at 640p.

    They sent us a new device out which came today by UPS, the box has clear damage to the corner completely creased in bubble wrap is damaged in one corner and the console has one corner creased In and cracked.

    We want to inform microsoft but they give us no option to contact them via either chat or by phone for anything to do with warranty claims, also it states on the warranty claims page that they do not replace consoles with physical damage. So where does that
    leave us as we don't want to send this new console back and have it sent back due to physical damage. We haven't even turned the new replacement on yet incase it causes a problem for return and also we don't want to be blamed for the damage.

    I am desperate to get back online aswell but I'm not willing to use this the damage is bad and I want a replacement. Any ideas what I should do. I registered to serial number just to get a return request going but there's no option to tell them the new device
    arrived faulty. We have photographs of all the damage but no way to send them to microsoft. Bit gutted to be honest this is just my luck!

    Very Disappointed w Xbox

    Similar issues, my disk drive gave up the ghost. The replacement xbox one arrived (under the advance exchange program), it arrived with an inoperable disk drive! Microsoft would not despatch a replacement Xbox one until my original was recieved by them.
    Then, and only then, would they release a further xbox to replace their broken one and they will hold a charge against my credit card until their faulty console is with them!

    So, when it eventually arrives, this will be my third Xbox One. Only one less than the 360's that needed repairing.

    When it works the One is great but I am very dubious of the longevity of its components.

    Agreed with voteDC, I have bought pre-owned online before and it arrived broken, I was advised to take it to my nearesr GAME store for replacement or send it back and wait for them to send another one. Games is fine online, but Consoles I wouldn't bother

    I was sent a broken replacement controller after waiting 15 days

    In conclusion, this is genuinely the worst experience I have ever had from any company ever. It took 31 days in total for me to get a WORKING replacement controller. The first replacement arrived broken and damaged after 14 days of waiting and the second one has only just arrived after 16 days of waiting. I have received absolutely no compensation despite asking for the second replacement controller to be new and for me to get the fast track delivery and being assured that I will receive an email from a manager in 24-48 hours answering my requests, which I never received. I am certainly not looking forward to going through the exact same process again when the replacement controller inevitably breaks in under a month
