    Do you think Microsoft should allow Xbox One users to Upgrade their Hard-Drives, or offer a service giving users options for them to Upgrade our hard-drives for us?

    If they allow us to bring it to a microsoft store and bring our own replacement I would definitely show up with a SSD to load quicker

    Replacement to SSD

    The internal hard drive is not meant to be swapped out. Doing so would violate the terms of service and put you at risk for being banned. Since it is a violation, it cannot be discussed on the forums.

    The SSD may be soldered on the ps5 but it is 100% replacable. Sony did not go out of their way to create an encrypted partition on the SSD locked to the console. So when it dies your xbox becomes a 500$ paperweight.

    Yes I heard of wanting to convert to an SSD but then I would be voiding my warranty if I still had it. I've read online that the Xbox one X comes with an SSD. I wouldn't be able to just send my Xbox in and ask to replace it with a new SSD, would I?
