replacement kinect for faulty hardware

free replacements for faulty hardware caused by updates. my kinect just stopped turning on last year and i would have reported it straight away but my father was dying from pancreatic cancer so i just didnt think about it my father
passed on wednesday and i finally got around to reporting it and i was told its out of warranty and i would have to pay for a replacement i think this is categorically wrong as it was no fault of my own that it wasnt working i already had to resend my xbox
one away when that just bricked for no reason i didnt really use the connect that much due to the fact i had no compatible games so i didnt notice it was broke straight away im very dissatisfied as the online support that i had was not able to do anything
about the price even though they wanted to

Broken Console and Kinect

If the Kinect is faulty then you will need to send that in as well.If it's a new shop bought console you should take it back & get a replacement.

Xbox One Kinect Unplugged

My Kinect is also faulty. It can see me through normal visual spectrum but the other 2 views (in the what else can Kinect see) are just black n white fuzz. It does recognise anybody or any movement. Spoke to customer services and should get replacement within
10 days? I also have to post the faulty one back....at my cost!!?

My condolences on the loss of your father.

I am not aware of any free replacements for hardware that is out of the warranty period. If you want it repaired/replaced then you will be expected to pay the necessary charges. Unfortunately, hardware just breaks and many times it is not anything the
user does that causes it.

just been on BF with Kinect but in a party ... and it seemed fine, cba replacing the console just because may have a faulty mic, im sure they do a replacement once the console is registered, but could be wrong ...
