    Replacement for homehub5 for open nat on two xbox ones


    Hi I have been struggling along with moderate NAT on both mine and my house mates xbox ones, we currently have bt infinity and use the home hub 5 wireless connection.

    I have been scouring the interest to find tried and tested routers which have been set up easily to give open nat on both consoles and I understand I will need a separate modem. I have been looking at getting hold of the bt openreach modem.

    Replacement for homehub5 for open nat on two xbox ones

    It has been confirmed, that with the HH5's latest version of firmware, you can't terminate multiple Xbox One's into the HH5, and get diagnosed with an Open NAT, for either of your console's.

    The best recommendation would be to ask your ISP for a bog standard modem (no router implemenation), and use the D-Link DIR-868L AC1750 as your router. This particular router is known to be easy-setup, and support multiple console support, seamlessly.

    Thank you your not the first person to mention that router and I haven't heard anything bad from people yet. So as the only £65 I probably will.
