Replacement elite series 2 defective on arrival

Title says it all. This is the 3rd elite v2 sent in for issues with left thumbstick. First time, click would not respond. Second , changed sprint button to a bottom trigger, to help controller live longer( although ive never had any other controllers
break, except the series 2, in 3 months)

2nd and 3rd controller, both suffered drift from left thumbstick, and not returning to center, at right about 3 month mark. Paid expedited shipping every time. The 3rd one, just got its replacement last night.... ( after 30 days of not having it) and
immediately updated, programmed with accessories app.... and thumbstick works, but this one has a trigger that doesn't. Immediately, out of box, defective. Call xbox, they want me to send this one in, and wait again without it. And the service center hangs
up. ( im being polite) last rep said " sir, this is your 4th controller replacement. I think the service center needs to be notified " ummmm.... yeah. But this 4th one, was broken on arrival. And, since ive never... had a issue with a controller, except
the series 2.... and its a known issue, by Microsoft.... friends have been trying to get me on other brands of controllers.... but I have heldout, hoping xbox would fix this issue. Ugh, I'm not sure now

Microsoft knew the controllers were defective and still sold them as a good product. they wont do anything to fix your controller because its most like out of warranty thats why the warranty was so short. The whole elite series 2 was a scam

Warranties cover a like for like replacement if required under that warranty so as far as I know, yes, if you send an Elite series 2 in for replacement you will receive an Elite series 2 back.

I did. It will take 5-10 days for replacement to arrive once they receive defective one. Thanks for reply.

Turns out, the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller needed to be replaced.

I have 2 elite controller both have their gripes falling off and it not like u can just put it back on... when u try to it doesn't fit right almost as if the rubber part is too big and doesn't fit the controller.... 300$ on 2 elite controller and neither
are close to a year old, Microsoft so be offering free replacement on their defective products especially when they themselves acknowledge that it's defective.... I want my 300$ back or 2 new elite controllerso with a lifetime quarentee..
