Replacement elite 2 controller

Hi my elite controller needs fixing/replacement. The rubber grip started peeling off and my lb button doesn't work at all. I've managed to re route the extra paddles on the back to supplement my lb button but it's very annoying.

Hi sorry to hear, that you have Problems with 3 Elite 2 Controller. I am happy with my Elite 1 Controller, it run perfectly. Can you get an 4. Replacement?

I'm sorry that you are having a problem with your Elite 2 controller, I will guide you so that you can send it for repair or obtain a replacement.

I remind you that this is a Microsoft community support forum where we are members and players like you, therefore we do not belong to Microsoft. But follow these steps to make use of your warranty:

Please go to the following link and register your control with its serial number if it is not already registered, using the "Add device" button in the upper right corner:

https://account.microsoft.com/devices

In your control, click on the "Information and support" option and then on "Start order". Finally, complete the information requested to finish requesting your replacement.

Sending the control would not have any cost with the parcel since you will be given a prepaid shipping label which means that it has already been paid by Microsoft. When the control leaves the replacement center it will be sent to your home, and you will not have to pay anything, you just have to receive it.

Is it a standard controller or an Elite controller?

If it’s standard you’ll have to replace the controller unfortunately. If it’s an elite you can get it serviced or replaced if it’s still under warranty.

The Elite Series 2 controller has a 1 year warranty.

If your controller isn’t working and needs replacing, go to https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/controller/controller-warranty and
enter the controller’s serial number at the bottom of that page. For the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, the 14-character serial number is in the lower centre on the back of the controller.
