Replacement controller and Headset sync problems

Any fix for this problem?

I have a near new Bluetooth wireless headset that's making a great paperweight at the moment, it's my backup headset for when I have to replace the wired one every 2 months..

Turn Xbox 360S on, sync headset, goes to '1', turn on controller, sync headset goes to '2' and controller takes up position '1'... I've synced, I've synced again, and again, I've disconnected the power a few hundred times, for the life of me the only conclusion
I can come to, is what I've read on here is the connection in the controller shorts and makes it think a headset is plugged in all the time. I'm sick of buying and replacing controllers and headsets because of small problems of the components sh1tting themselves,
the Xbox is turning into a money pit, and things like controllers, headsets and other stuff, and its not cheap in Australia, we pay double the USA, and our dollars are parity. These, like milk, petrol, bread and ink are becoming consumables.

Hmmm odd issue. Try unsyncing the controller from the xbox, then sync the controller again. Another option replace the batteries. 3rd, sorry if this is costy, buy a new headset or buy a xbox one headset adapter plug the adapter to the xbox one sync it to
the console and controller then plug in your headset and it should work from there. Hope this helps!

I have issues syncing when I turn on a controller with the headset plugged in. They disapppear as soon as I unplug it. After the controller is synced I can plug the headset back in and works just fine. I am wondering if there is any kind of problem with
the headsets themselves.

I have the same problem with both controllers I have.

Sync your controller to quadrant 1 first & sync your controller to Quadrant 2 on the light ring... Then press the power button on the headset to sync the headset with the controller on Quadrant 1...
