Discus and support Replaced Xbox 360 & cannot log in anymore... in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So my old Xbox 360 finally showed the ring of death a couple years ago and I replaced it with one of the new black Xbox 360's.     Replaced Xbox 360 & cannot log in anymore...


    So my old Xbox 360 finally showed the ring of death a couple years ago and I replaced it with one of the new black Xbox 360's. I didn't use XBox Live much on the first one but used the free trial that came with it to check it out. Now my kids are old enough
    to want to use the machine and I thought I'd try the new trial that came with the new Xbox 360. When I log in, it finds the internet and connects to Live but won't let me log in because my login is tied to another account...

    How do I end the old account and set up the new one? Thanks for any help anyone can offer,

    I have same problem from two days now... Replaced Xbox 360 & cannot log in anymore... :(

    I cannot play anymore with my Xbox because I cannot log in Replaced Xbox 360 & cannot log in anymore... :(

    Hi Jim,

    You don't need to end your old one just choose to download it. Enter your Microsoft Account (MSA) email and password when prompted. If you wish to create a new one for your kids then just sign them up for a MSA

    support.xbox.com/.../manage-your-microsoft-account-faq    . Also if you set them with child accounts and tie your adult account as parent you will have more control what they can do while they would be online.

    Oh, I thought you wanted me to log in to an Xbox 360 and try it out, that is why I was saying that I do not have that console anymore so I cannot check it for you. I also do not play that game anymore since I am on the new generation.
