Replace Old Profile

I have come across and interesting issue that I can't find answers to. I have a Microsoft account that I can't access.

What happened was I had two Microsoft accounts and I wanted to keep one account with Xbox live gold and replace the other one with it. I went on the gold account and changed the email to the other account's email so I could replace it. Now I can't log in
to the gold account and I am left with the old account. What happened to the gold account and how can I delete this one?

Any help is appreciated.

The is the new profile gamertag associated with the account and we need to remove it and replace with old gamertag.

My mail adress had change down my gamertag so now i can not connet

I'm sorry but the profil had brought a game and a Xbox live gold can not lose this things and an other profil can not replace the owner, after i don't believe that it's possible to connect with only the mail and the pwd Microsoft to use the Xbox, while
the old profil still there with another mail adress who has to be change by the old adress.

Did you follow the steps found here:
support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account

If not, you may have somehow managed to link both accounts to the same e-mail. You might want to check with phone support for your area in order to get them properly separated again.

Unfortunately there is no fix for this. I have also experienced this on one of my old controllers and ended up replacing it. If your controller is still under warranty, I would suggest getting it replaced.

Hey there JacybPorter,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forums, when you update the primary email address (alias) to a Microsoft account you are simply replacing the old one. Unfortunately there is no way to actually move the Xbox profile to a new Microsoft account.

Just be aware that replacing the alias will delete the old one and replace it with the new one, in other words if replaced it will delete your dads alias and replace it with the new one.
