Replace "Followers" with "Friend Requests"?

From what I've seen, there is no specific "friend request" place for all your friend requests when you go into your profile. There's just friends, followers, etc. Followers is just a mixture of friends AND friend requests. Which.. I assume can be pretty
confusing? They should really fix that :/

And what ratio do you have between "Friends" and "Followers"? If you add to much people and this ratio too big you cannot add more and will freeze your friends list.

There is an icon on followers who are your friends,the ones without are "just" followers

 

It's not confusing at all. It basically works the same as Twitter. You can follow someone and their activity will appear in your feed. But unless they follow you back, you're just a stalker.

We have people on the Xbox One who are "e-celebrities", and while the friends limit is 1,000/2,000 that is not enough for them. So, being able to follow someone helps.

 

Basically getting a new follower is a friend request. Either follow back(accept request) Or dont follow back. Seems pretty simple.

 

It might be confusing at first but as other's have explained, it makes sense in the end.

 

I still think that if you follow someone back they should be removed from the followers list and just be shown in your friends list... That helps avoid confusion between the two and reduces "clutter" on the followers list.

 

Good idea, all the better to see those pesky stalkers from the losing team.

That's what should be done. If you follow them back they're a friend and taken off the followers list. I'd also like to see party invites and followers show up as messages (or at least the option in settings or something) there have been times where it says
I have zero followers and I'll go to the option and I have new ones.
