Repetitive Destiny

Is it just me or is Destiny same thing over and over? Every time I go back to an area the same aliens are there etc. Also missions very similar restricted death near end hold off a few waves of fallen. Done

Saying that I had a do with a mate last night and enjoyed it

Halo losing it's thunder

why does destiny keep coming into this thread its off topic this is a halo thread we get it you all love destiny but tbh destiny is boring and repetitive

 

Destiny looks a lot like Halo

If you ask me, COD is repetitive, yet people love that game. gta5 is super repetitive, yet people cant stop playing that game. destiny is going to be great, just give it a chance like you have to do with the xbox one

 

I enjoy the game, but I can see where you're coming from. Maybe this type of game isn't for you. I've always been a big fan of FPS games, MMO games, and Fighting games.

At least with Destiny you're aiming for something new, whether that's something as basic as becoming a better player in PvP, or trying to obtain a certain item, i.e. armour or weapon.

I'll admit that the content needs to grow for the game, as users usually consume content quickly for this type of game. As it is I have all the gear I need from PvP, with the exception of the Iron Man events that haven't launched yet. As for PvE, there's
nothing I really want to get other than 1 weapon upgrade. The Raid gear interests me but I haven't attempted it yet, but will get around to it at some point.

The game is what you make it. I've spoken to a lot of new people since the game launched, and that's been an enjoyable part of it, too. These games are social experiences, and I think some people are less inclined to come out of their comfort zone and
actually engage others in conversation, even though this happens to be an integral part of the game.

All in all, I think Destiny is a better shooter than most I've played. But that's just my opinion.
