Repeatedly Unresponsive Controller Xbox One

Hi all,

Same problem as Wolfgang613 - I decided to update both my controllers as i could see they needed, that said before the firmware update all was working perfectly well. Guess what? I update my controllers to have both fail the update half way through. Now
im stuck with two controllers that wont turn on!! I appreciate peripherals have to endure knocks, bumps and such but offering a 90 day warranty is mental!!!! That's like unofficially saying we anticipate the product may fail shortly after!!!

Xbox support has been a complete mine field, you may as well toss a coin to anticipate when / how you will be dealt with. Originally contacted support via phone. On hold for 25 minutes only to be told to call back the next day. Very helpful. Contact chat
support..... Try it on another concole... again helpful. Get to the third time...... Sorry your pads are out of warranty. £85 to repair both!!!!! Love Xbox gaming in general. Massively let down by microsoft and xbox support.

3 consoles since release. 4 broken controllers through no wrong doing of my own, in fact Microsoft firmware.... ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!!!!! SORT IT OUT XBOX!!!!

I'm afraid if none of those steps help then a repair/replacement is going to be your best next option. If your controller is still in warranty you can request a repair over on our
Online Service Center.

Are you sure you're putting the batteries in the right way? Even I make that mistake sometimes.
