Repeated system updates

I can't find any posts about this so I'm going to make one, because this has become so unbelievably annoying. In the past couple weeks, I've turned my Xbox on to have a 1761mb update, and I've done this same update around 4 times. I've turned the settings
on so it should update automatically even when it's off, but it's now become extremely annoying when I tell my friend I'm going to be online then have to wait around half an hour for the same stupid update. Has anyone else had or having his problem, and is
there a fix?

Console stuck in a cycle of restarting

After doing an offline system update my Xbox one is stuck in a restarting cycle, where it says it's updating which doesn't happen, then says restarting ( it restarts) and this keeps repeating even when I completely shut down the system. I repeated the offline
system update but it has the same result. How do I get off this screen and get an updated console without restoring my Xbox ? Help please.

 

Repeated initial update failure

Hi,

My nephew got a used Xbox One for Christmas however we have been unable to complete the update after initial set-up of the console. We have tried a factory reset and followed it with a wireless update on numerous occasions and also have put the update on
an external hard drive and tried the update from there. On each occasion it reaches 76% or so and says it is going to restart. However the Xbox turns off and does not restart. We need to remove the power cable for 30 seconds in order to get the console to
switch on again. We have received an error E101 message on a couple of occasions, but this has been rare. Does anyone have any solutions to this, as we have one very disappointed 10 year old at the moment?!

My One has been updating like crazy the last couple weeks too, often during a gaming session kicking me out for a little while (very annoying). It seems like the same sized updates are being installed every time as well.
