    I have repeatedly lost all sound on Xbox One (since new). I try everything suggested..check/change settings, new HDMI cable, new port, etc., except the "soft reset" (I haven't tried because most say it doesn't help with this issue). I see that as a last
    resort, Microsoft suggests repair, but it has done this since new: Sound randomly quits working then randomly starts working. Any advice besides switching to PS4?

    Purchased July 29, 2018. Not sure how long warranty lasts. So many folks have this problem, I think it's systematic, not MY system....
