    Repeated disconnections, unable to find cause


    A couple of months ago I started having issues when playing Forza Horizon 4 on my PC. It gradually got worse to the point where it barely stays connected for more than 5 minutes at most. However after disconnecting it has no problem reconnecting afterwards.

    Thus far I've tried using the XBox Network settings to check and fix the connecction (which didn't detect a problem), using command prompt to reset the Teredo tunneller, reinstalling the game (including on a different drive) and connecting directly to my
    router (normally run through CAT6 to a switcher in the attic).

    Forza is currently the only game I have that uses the XBox network. Is there a way to establish if the cause is the XBox network or if it lies with the game itself, other than buying another game to try? I'm reasonably confident the issue is not on my end
    as such as no other software has this issue, barring perhaps an issue with the XBox related apps. It's unlikely to be the Forza install itself as the game was fine for over a year before this started and I've tried a fresh install.

    If I can at least narrow down where the issue lies that may be helpful, at least I'd know not to buy another Forza game for PC, for example. When I contacted Forza they offered no help whatsoever, essentially shrugging and wishing me luck.

    Any ideas how to attack the issue would be greatly appreciated.

    My dad used to have a problem like this and then it was caused by the repeater only being able to provide one device with internet. So if another device was also connected to it, it would (and could) not get an IP address since the repeater could only
    support one device at a time. If this is the case try disconnecting the other device and do a reset on the repeater just to make sure.

    I am not experiencing the issue lol, I am trying to figure out why so many users are having this disconnection issue. I see this on the AmbassaBank everyday and on the Xbox Forums. Something weird is going on and I want to find the cause of it and end it
    once and for all.

    *Many tried the clearing cache, re-download, Port Forwarding, changing settings on router methods and it does not help at all. I believe it has something to do with the console itself. Newer consoles are fine while older ones are disconnecting repeatably.
    What is causing this? Why is this happening now? That is the question everyone wants the answer to.

    I've tried all the solutions proposed but it still does not work. I noticed that when I put the handle facing the kinect sensor it works perfectly, no disconnection. But when I took over the controller and installs on my chair not even 2 meters from the

    You can try to find the program that's causing this problem.
    For this, enable one by one the programs in the list. Once you enable one, restart. Then repeat until you experience the problem

    My disconnects happen with or without the headset. I very rarely play with the headset anyways. And as for playing with my controller wired, well that's not an option. I have a 134" screen and even using a 10' micro USB cord I am still way too close. How
