Repeatable green graphics glitch in titanfall-xbox one

Hello,

There is a light green overlay in the areas that are typically black when playing titanfall. First I noticed it when the smoke particles all looked a little grainy, but then really noticed that it happens when I am running down a dark corridor or even just
cycling through the burn cards. I just noticed/just started occurring, and I am wondering if perhaps my graphics/xbox one is at fault? I purchased it about 3 weeks ago and want to know, I'd prefer to swap in store or return it then wait.

I recorded clips of it and am in the process of uploading it to show people; although grainy you can definitely see it.

I do have CoD ghosts so will try later to see if the same occurs.

Does anyone notice the same thing? Perhaps support can tell me if it is my xbox.

Okay, it now shows the green things once again while navigating through the upload studio; so I am pretty sure there is something wrong with my xbox one :/

 

Well it didn't show up in the videoclip I uploaded... Also sorry I don't know how to edit.

This isn't just in titanfall anymore. It happens on the dashboard as well; if I move left/right everything that has a video feed (main screen/titanfall, kinds of badassdom free, games/new CoD) all have the green artifacts as well. I can't seem to find anything
about this other than green screen of death, but this isn't the same, just some artifacts popping up.

I know this didn't happen before so I know something is faulty.

BTW, the very first thing I did was check the hdmi and all cables where seated correctly and fully. It does seem to be running a bit warmer at idle (hand on top was never warm, now it is) and the room is still kept at 72-75 degrees F.

I am sorry to hear about the graphics issues. Just to make sure that we are not missing any troubleshooting steps, I recommend trying a a few steps.

Please give the following steps a try:

• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 5 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Leave the console unplugged for 5 minutes and plug in your console.
• Power on you console.
• Check to see if you are noticing any issues with the graphics.
• If you have another HDMI cable try it to see if the issue occurs.

@Fatal, I think I've seen this before, and I don't think you're going to like the answer. I had a guy that was getting odd bars like what you're getting (in spots where it was supposed to be dark or there was a lot of overlay) and when he loaded up the
clips every thing looked fine online and even when I pulled up his loaded clips through my system. That means the console is processing the graphics just fine, it's only what he was seeing on his end that we were having problems.

You can probably see where this is going. Short version: it wasn't his console, it was his TV. I'd try playing with the video modes or as the agent above suggested, try changing the HDMI or even other ports. To troubleshoot it definitively though, I'd
try to hook it into a newer TV if possible, that's going to tell you for sure.

 

@Mister: Thanks but I tried that while chatting with support; restarting it makes it go away sometimes, once it goes away support says "glad to have assisted you" lol

@bigben: I feel if it was the tv then it would be constant, it seems more dependent on the xbox state. I tried another hdmi cable that was hooked up to a pc and it still had the issue, so it's not the hdmi or the port at least. It could be the tv but I doubt
it. Google "video card artifacts" and tell me it doesn't look like that lol

It sometimes goes away after a restart but after some gaming it returns. I tried to make the exchange at the retail store but apparently the titanfall bundles are discontinued and they are oos and likely not getting any in and that is the only way for a
direct exchange (since sku numbers are different) :/ but I'm going out of town so will bring it with me and exchange on the way (Target exchange seems pretty legit other than the sku issue)

What I get looks very similar to the counter strike image, just a lot more of it, occasionally. Website says the Video RAM is bad/going bad, which I am diagnosing is the issue.

 

I hear where you're coming from Fatal, and I agree for the most part. The problem is you're forgetting that the processing on the console end is only part of the equation. The system processes the images and sends them to your TV/Monitor, but it's your
TV/Monitor that processes the images. If your TV is unable to process, i.e. refresh rate and Hz, then you're going to get similar issues.

I'm not saying it's not the console, you could very well be right, but don't forget to take in the whole equation, especially if you opt to replace your console and end up just getting the same issue.
