You would not be able to purchase an extended service plan after the console's original warranty has run out. You would have to have it repaired in the country it was purchased it, however. To set up a repair online, please visit:

Repairing US purchased consoles in India

    Hi,

I have a Xbox 360 Elite, that was purchased on US in early 2008. The console has lately started showing 2 flashing red lights , 5-10 minutes into starting it. The area in which the console is kept is well ventilated so i am not sure why the overheating is
    occuring.

Is it possible to get the console that was purchased in US, repaired in India, by raising an online service request for such issues? What would be the charges for such a repair? Also, is there a way to buy extended warranty for my console? Any help will
    be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Amit

Hi there UnbridledAsp3, if you need to get your xbox serviced, I'd start by contacting Microsoft Support by going to
support.xbox.com/.../contact-us . I know you said that you are in India, but start here, drill down through the options Xbox 360-->System-->Other, and then click on chat with Microsoft.
Tell them your situation, and they should be able to work with you. Worst case scenario, they'll at least be able to tell you whether or not they can help you while you are in another country. Start there, and if you don't get anywhere, come back and give
    us an update.
