    Repairing my console


    Hi, I'm trying to send my console in for repair, but I was on the phone with tech support and they said since I am preview member it should be free to repair after the warranty is up, but my console is not showing up as apart of the program and I don't
    want to pay $130 dollars if I don't have to, but my account is, could an ambassador please update this information? The case number I was given from tech support is 1315950852

    damn >_< I don't see why repairing your console yourself is against the ToS :/ ah well, ill probably get a new console at xmas if tehre is no way of repairing it.

    You would need to contact the support within the Preview Forums (Officialy staff via support chat)

    To add to that. Please do not post any personal info in the forums including service requests. Also being in the preview program does not give you a free extended warranty, or extra warranty on your console. So if your console needs repair, you will most
    likely still need to pay the service fee.

    Having a free extended warranty for being in the preview program is what I was told over the phone when I talked to tech support, so I guess they told me the wrong thing I'm not sure, Also posting that service request here is what tech support told me to
    do sorry.

    If your console was not repaired by Microsoft, the repair center will not touch it. It is in fact considered tampered with.
