Repairing a disc

I thought that was a joke, but no actually try it, if have no other option just leave it be.

if the disc won't read because of scratches you could see if your local library has a disc cleaning service.

First, try the Disc Drive Solution:

support.xbox.com/.../disc-drive-solution

If that fails, it's a repair:

support.xbox.com/.../repair-process

It seems like the discs have been laser burnt or scratched by the disc tray, you should probably send the console in for repairs, so that they can fix the part that is damaging the discs, otherwise like you say, it may scratch more of your discs.

Since it can't read any discs and your disc tray jams, I'm sorry to say that it sounds like your disc drive is damaged and is in need of a repair. I suggest not putting any discs in the disc drive just to avoid the risk of damaging your discs.
