Repair Time

So since there's not too many big games coming to X1 on my radar until about the middle of August, i'm thinking about going ahead and sending my Xbox One it for repair.

My Kinect just randomly stopped working about a week ago, might turn on for 5 min then just powers back off, weird. And i've been having some disc drive issues since I bought it.

Nothing to keep me from gaming but since there's a good break in the game world I figured I might go ahead and send it in.

But anyway do any of you guys know about how long it takes to get it fixed and sent back, would it even be back by August-ish haha?

I remember years ago when my old arcade red ringed it took like 4 months almost. The repair site says "allow 14 days" but ehhhhh.

I am going to send my X1 in for repair while it's still under warranty. The system is very loud when it starts up or when the disc is changed for the first 15min or so. When the disc stops spinning the system is inaudible. My question is does anyone know
what the approximate repair time is?

in the past a repair for a console was about 2-3 weeks, but I couldn't quickly find the current details on it.

I sent my Xbox One Stereo Headset in for repair almost two weeks ago. I should be getting them back tomorrow. I can't imagine it would be any less for a console.

It will probably take a bit longer for consoles, but it shouldn't take longer than a month. I too have dealt with sending my 360 in for repair 5 separate times, and it would take around a month. So I expect it to be the same for the Xbox One.

 

I just sent my Xbox One in for repair because the disc drive stopped working. I got it out to Fed Ex the day after I set it up and it got delivered back today. In total about 2 1/2 weeks. I'm on the east coast and the repair center is in Texas, so I assume
I could have had it sooner if I lived closer.

 

Hmmmm. Anyone else find it disturbing that people's One's are already failing? I love my 360 but I had to have it replaced at least 6-7 times over the last 8 years and now this. And none of you seem the least bit bothered by that. A $500 item malfunctioning
less than 8 months later. That's acceptable?

From what i've noticed its just some of the Launch X1's.

I figured that I would run into some issues getting the consoles so soon, but I don't really mind. At least I don't have to pay for repairs.

 

What did you do with all your profile data? Did you just send your console in?
