Repair request is not working and Xbox powering up but no connection to TV or controllers

Hi,

Xbox SX is powering up but not outputting a signal; tried swapping hdmi and tv - no success.

It has also stopped connecting to controllers.

It is still under warranty but when I attempt to process a request it “fails” at the point it requests an address.

Tried the virtual chat - just told me to turn it off and on again

Twitter - no response

Any advice on how to get hold of anyone to help with this?

LewisD3, first, if you have a USB-C cable, try to connect the controller with your console using the cable. Then try this:

1. Turn off your Xbox completely by holding the power button for 10 seconds. Unplug it from the wall, wait for 1 minute, and plug it back.

2. Press and hold the Sync and Eject buttons.

3. Press the power button, and keep holding the Sync and Eject buttons together.

4. Keep holding the Sync and Eject buttons, until the troubleshooting menu appears.

5. Select the option "restore this Xbox" and choose to keep my games and apps.

If that doesn't work, try to reach out to the Sale's Support, and explain that you're not being able to open the service order by yourself, due to errors on the website, and ask them to help you open a service order for your console.

Thanks, but the issue is the Xbox is not connecting/ sending a signal to the tv.

I know, I mentioned the USB C, because o said your console was not recognizing your controller as well. So, in order to try the procedure, I sent you, you would need the controller connected.

Have you tried connecting the controller to the console with a cable and see if it will switch on.

If it doesn't work then you would need to have it repaired, if the controller is still under warranty you can request a repair on the website.

Did you try these steps:

making sure the console is off
then unplug the power
unplug Kinect sensor
then with the sensor still unplugged try plugging back in the power and booting it back up
then plug in Kinect once it's on

Also try leaving the console unplugged for a full ten minutes.

The final step in this flow is
Submit an online repair request.
