Hi,

Log in with your Microsoft software account to view the console device/serial number. Xbox one Console comes with a one-year standard warranty from the date of purchase.

Your Microsoft account is the email address and password you use to sign into your Surface, Xbox, and Microsoft services like Outlook, OneDrive, and Xbox Live. If you don’t have a Microsoft account, you can get one for free.

The serial number of your Surface, Surface Type Cover, Xbox Console, or Kinect.

Once your device has been registered, go to Device service and repair and select your device to see your warranty status (shown in the image below in English).

The Return Address is where you would like mail sent once it has been received and reviewed / repaired....etc....so in this case it would be your home address.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about the status of your games if you change the email of your account.

You will not lose anything associated to your account if you are merely changing your alias. As long as you know the email and password associated with your account, you should not lose any game content or progress.
