Reoccurring Bright Flash of 'Textured Green' and Graphical Glitches

Hey. I'm not exactly sure where to post this, but I figured somebody here may be able to help me out.

On the 9th on November, I received my Xbox One X: Project Scorpio Edition and got it all set up. Most went fine for the next few days (I'll explain later) and I was enjoying some of the new enhanced games like Forza Motorsport 7 and Ghost Recon Wildlands. However
recently, I've noticed that every now and again my entire screen will flash to a bright green color along with some weird texture pattern (it's difficult to make out what the actual pattern is as this only occurs for a fraction of a second). It doesn't seem
to depend on what I'm playing, as it has happened in Ghost Recon, Forza 7, Minecraft Xbox One Edition, Fortnite, the YouTube app and even just while idling at the home screen. This pattern appears at least twice per ~3 hour gaming session. Along with this
strange pattern, I've also noticed that sometimes polygons seem to like to jump around the screen when playing Ghost Recon when ever there's something graphically intense going on, coupled with random flashes of red and black when zooming in through a scope
etc. (The issues with Ghost recon were first noticed near the 3rd or 4th day I had the system, I didn't think much of them as I thought the system needed a sort of 'break-in' period) I have yet to see if any of the issues that I've had with Ghost
Recon Wildlands (just the ones that I have stated only happen in GRW) occur in any other game, but the green/textured flash seems to happen whenever.

Things I have done to try and resolve these issues:

    - Unplug the HDMI cable from the TV and Xbox, then reinsert.

    - Use a different 4K Compatible HDMI cable entirely

    - Plug the system directly into a wall power socket

    - Hard reset (holding the power button for 10 seconds)

    - Full Shutdown

    - Factory Reset

    - Reset Alternate MAC Address

    - Try a different television

    - Unplug system from power source for 1 minute, then power back on

    - Turning it off and back on again

I don't have my Xbox One X registered in any preview update, nor do I abuse the system, I do my absolute best to baby it, shutting it off when ever I'm not using it. The system is in a very well ventilated spot with more than 5" Inches of room on either
side of the system, so I don't think heat dissipation is an issue, although I do think the system gets abnormally warm when idling (however I've heard others say this as well).
Side Note: This is NOT an issue with my TV. I have my TV hooked up to my PC and have never had any issues with this TV in the past. (TV model is the Samsung MU7000 49")

What can I do to resolve this issue? Or IS there anything I can do? Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

    :)

Xbox 360 Slim (250GB) Freezing upon loading the dashboard.

Here's some things that can cause the issues:

    • HDD is bad, HDD's have moving parts. Anything is possible.
    • Heat, make sure the fans aren't covered.
The graphical glitches could be a failing GPU or a bad HDMI.

You could rule out the HDD by taking it out and using a USB Flash Drive as the HDD. See if anything freezes or has graphical glitches(though the graphical glitches most likely wouldn't be the HDD's fault)

You can put saves on the cloud if your worried about losing them, saves usually less than 10mbs so it wouldn't be an issue.

It could be a software issue but it seems odd that it would only happen on a few consoles...

Hey LMKemp! Sorry to hear about the display issues you're having, has the console ever worked on a display without issue? Because you've tried all of the major at home troubleshooting steps available, sending the console in for repair
is most likely your best bet. You can start that process
    here
    or by contacting support

    . Thanks!

Update: Was suggested by Joan P. through a support chat that I should try and disable the "Allow HDR" option under Advanced Settings to try and resolve the strange flashing. I did this last night and am still experiencing the issue(s).

Some new things to add to the list of troubleshooting steps I've taken:

    - Unchecked "Allow HDR"

    - Unchecked "Allow 4K"

    - Changed color mode to PC RGB (from Standard) then reverted

    - Changed bit-depth (24, 30, 36)

    - Looked for any recent updates

I was also able to capture a picture of the green flash after multiple attempts.

Please keep in mind that this isn't a constant issue (meaning my screen doesn't always look like this), it only happens for a fraction of a second then the image reverts back to what it should be, however this seems to be happening more and more.

Thank you for your reply Cizl, but unfortunately the first link brings me to a "Device service and repair" page, and when I hit the button that says sign in, nothing happens. The page just reloads and I'm back to looking at a Surface with an Xbox 360 controller.
I will however contact support again as you mentioned and see what they can do. Thanks.

    Purple and green textures/lighting

You can try completely uninstalling and reinstalling the affected games. A possibility is that some texture files may be corrupt. See if that helps.

I assume you are using a 4K-HDR display? The "PC RGB" option should generally only be set if you are playing on a computer monitor. Do you see the flashing textures when HDR is enabled?

Whenever I read and hear about graphical glitches, the worst case scenario is that the GPU may be showing signs of failing, and the console would have to be sent in for
    service.
