Rented Xbox movie freezing

Rented Harry Potter 1 on Xbox video with an Xbox 360 for the first time. Our connection was too slow for streaming so we downloaded the HD version. This took hours. So we set out our Saturday evening to watch it. It freezes 30 secs in. If you skip forward
it freezes in another place. Have deleted cache etc., turned off console etc. Error code returns nothing. Pretty annoyed

Rented Movie not appearing on Xbox

I rented a movie by phone but when I refreshed my Xbox, the movie didn't appear in MY MOVIES.

rental of movie failure

I rented movie nd selected strem feture. movie opened on still picture of movie. then I got message "rented movie has expired, rent again to see movie".

this is bs I never got to see movie! no movie, no refund, no remedy from xbox. this is not first time I rent movies but first time this happens. will not try again, ENJOY MY MONEY MICROSOFT!

I can't remember. c006... Something. When I searched it on the Xbox error code search engine at the time it came back as unrecognised. Which was helpful...

We can't help if we don't know the cause. If you are able to get that error again then be sure to write it down so you can post it here for more assistance.

Another option would be to check your browser history to see if you can find it through there.

If you're planning on renting movies through Xbox Video, here is the explanation from the Xbox Support FAQ on how movie rentals work:

Renting movies

When you rent a movie through Xbox Video, it's available to you for 14 days. This 14-day countdown starts when you make the purchase. When you start playing the movie, another clock starts ticking: you have a 24-hour period of time during which you can watch
the movie as many times as you want.

Let's say you rent a movie at 3:00 P.M. on May 1. If you start watching the movie at 8:00 P.M. on May 5, your rental period expires at 8:00 P.M. on May 6.

Note Unlike a movie that you buy, a movie that you rent must be viewed on the device it was rented for (Xbox 360, computer, Windows Phone 7.

If your using Xbox movie app:

Note Unlike a movie that you buy, you must view a movie that you rent on the device you rented it for (for example, the Xbox 360 console, a computer, or a Windows Phone)

However I know Microsoft allowes you watch rented movies via a app called Movie Anywhere. If you purchase a movie on your account and if was produce by a movie studio they team up with>>>you can watch your rented movies there. I used this app in the past
