rented movie expired before day

I rented a movie at 900 this morning. Less then a day I cannot watch it

rental of movie failure

I rented movie nd selected strem feture. movie opened on still picture of movie. then I got message "rented movie has expired, rent again to see movie".

this is bs I never got to see movie! no movie, no refund, no remedy from xbox. this is not first time I rent movies but first time this happens. will not try again, ENJOY MY MONEY MICROSOFT!

something is not right

earlyer today i rented a movie Noah SD download. it did not download, when i went to watch the movie it was not there in my memory or in the downloading que. i got charged 4 dollars and when i try to rent again it says i already have it, but its expired.
i also rented another movie, it downloaded the other movie

When this occurs, try restoring your purchases from within the settings menu of the app. This will force the app to refresh your licenses. Also, you can try locating the file in your movie storage location and opening it from there.

So...let me get this straight. You paid to rent a movie two weeks ago, yet didn't start watching it until less than two hours before expiry?

Or, conversely, you started watching a rented movie, then somehow forgot about it for nearly two days and decided to finish it right on the line, just before it expired?

I'm having the same issue on the movie called tomorrow when the war begins. I am renting the movie and only have a few hours before it expires. and I'm streaming the movie in sd.

If you're planning on renting movies through Xbox Video, here is the explanation from the Xbox Support FAQ on how movie rentals work:

Renting movies

When you rent a movie through Xbox Video, it's available to you for 14 days. This 14-day countdown starts when you make the purchase. When you start playing the movie, another clock starts ticking: you have a 24-hour period of time during which you can watch
the movie as many times as you want.

Let's say you rent a movie at 3:00 P.M. on May 1. If you start watching the movie at 8:00 P.M. on May 5, your rental period expires at 8:00 P.M. on May 6.

Note Unlike a movie that you buy, a movie that you rent must be viewed on the device it was rented for (Xbox 360, computer, Windows Phone 7.

I wouldn't spent 1600 Microsoft points to rent it.... And it says if you rent or buy a movie in purchase history and says if it is expired.. I bought this movie
