Rented a movie without watching and now it's "expired"

Hi,

five days ago I rented the movie "The Martian" and downloaded it without watching it.

Today I wanted to see the movie. The 360 was offline, I started the movie and for ten minutes all went ok until the 360 freezed. I restarted the console, the movie played for a few minutes and the 360 freezed again! Now the movie is "expired" and I can't watch
it anymore. Five euros spent for nothing.

So...let me get this straight. You paid to rent a movie two weeks ago, yet didn't start watching it until less than two hours before expiry?

Or, conversely, you started watching a rented movie, then somehow forgot about it for nearly two days and decided to finish it right on the line, just before it expired?

What's the deal with Movie Rentals on Zune Movies...

You are watching a Movie, that had more than an hour left before it expired & it cuts off the movie.. Then says, the Viewing Licence has expired & gives an error...

It should let you finish watching the movie you started or tell you before you start watching it, that you won't be able to finish watching the 2 hour movie, if you have less than two hours remaining until expiry... Before, you could start the movie & watch
it... As long as you start it before the time expires etc..

Point Being, there is no use watching a movie, that you have rented.. If the time expiry is less than the movies length etc..

 

You can get a refund for your movie as this is not your fault. Please check this website to find your country of residency and you will be able to call that number and they should give you a refund. This is the only way to get a refund because nobody in
the forums can give you a refund.
