Renewing my console licenses?

Your licenses are tied to the Home setting. Whatever console is set as your Home console, has your licenses. Keep in mind, you can only change your Home console 3 times a year. It's recommended to keep your own console as your Home console.

It's currently possible to spread one's content across multiple console licenses. For instance, my limited edition Halo 3 theme DLC has a console license that is bound to my Halo 3 console. My Halo games bought from the Marketplace are bound to my Halo 4
console. All my other content ends up bound to my MW3 console.



In the new order, all content purchased will bind its license to the console I designate as my "home" console. The advantage is you can buy content anywhere and not worry about having to do a license release/renew. The disadvantage is that special edition
consoles that come with codes won't be able to "keep" their content if the content is redeemed by a single gamertag that is used across multiple consoles.

The publishers license was not renewed.

Games are not delisted for fun, music and car licenses expire. The cost of renewing intellectual property in a game like this is far above any revenue it would generate. This is why these licenses are rarely renewed.
