you can't. Currency can never be used for live subscriptions regardless of consoles.

Either you have to buy a prepaid membership card from a store or buy gold membership with a renewable payment method and home console if you have an xbox one

Are you asking how to use the points to purchase a gold membership? You can't. You have to purchase a gold subscription either through a prepaid card in a store or through a credit card/Paypal on Live.

DLC is tied to the profile you downloaded it on. The way it used to be is if DLC was on the Hard Drive, every profile could have access to it. But now I believe that isn't the case. I believe you will need to either put Gold on the account that has the DLC,
or pay to download the DLC on the new account.



You don't have to go to Xbox.com to purchase Gold, this can be done one of two other ways. You can go to your local Game Retailer and purchase and Xbox Live Membership Card and redeem the code on the Console, Or you can go into your account on the console
and purchase a 1 Month, 3 Month or 12 Month Subscription.



Whatever is the cheapest is what i would reccomend.
