renewed xbox gold account - xbox one still telling me to join gold

So my gold account expired, and I bought a new yearly one directly from the Xbox. I received an e-mail confirmation that my payment went through, and on my xbox profile online I can see that I am currently a gold member, however there seems to be some problems
on the xbox itself since I am still told to join gold. I tried switching off and back on the console. Any help? Thank you

renewed xbox live gold membership today but cannot access gold features

i also just renewed my xbox live gold through a prepaid card. my microsoft account shows that its active, if i go to subscriptions in my xbox one settings it says its good, but the xbox store will not let me buy the games with gold games. i got to the point
where i could, trying to get mirrors edge at the moment, and when i click show price it freezes. and the only way i was able to get there was through settings->subscriptions->xbox live->free games.

but the xbox dashboard still is telling me to "Join now and start saving", where it normally would say stuff about games with gold.

I would redownload the profile as that might refresh everything.

Try removing your profile from the console and the perform a hard reset like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the
power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational reload your profile. Let us know if this works for you. Good Luck!!

try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account

have you tried redownloading yourprofile or power cycling the console?

Aside from
removing a Microsoft account on Xbox One and downloading it back onto the console, make sure to check the

Services and Subscriptions. It will show if the subscription is active and that there is no problems
