Renewed my xbox live acct and not letting me play online

I understand you're having issues with playing online after renewing your Xbox Live gold subscription. I totally get how that can

be frustrating. I'll be more than happy to help!

Earlier today there was a
Service Alert that was affecting that part of our service but I believe everything is back up and running now.

I would recommend one more time performing a
Hard console Reset where you hold down the power button on your console for 10 seconds

until it shuts off. Once you've done that, unplug your Xbox from the power supply / wall outlet to cut the power for about 3-5 minutes to

allow the console to totally reboot. If for whatever reason it still doesn't work try

removing your account from the Xbox console and

re-downloading you profile back onto the console. That usually helps in situations like this.

I added a live to my console as well and its not letting me play anything online. So frustrating!!

I have the same problem and you customer support people are no help at all . Only good thing youre good at is charging my card
