This would indicate that you needed to purchase a 3 Month Xbox Live Card either at the retailer or through the Xbox Dashboard advertisement for this promotion to be eligible.

To clarify, where and how did you purchase the Xbox Live subscription?

well could it be a membership renewal?

everytime you purchase a dashboard deal they tell you this membership will renew at this date

they also send multiple emails to the contact email

Did you use a prepaid code or a credit card?

If prepaid code that's why

You have to meet the terms are conditions of the deal

By buying the deal with a renewable payment option

A prepaid card counts as a previous membership purchase

Because dashboard memberships and promotional memberships require a reoccurring payment option

Currency has never been used as a payment option for subscriptions

When you click on the dashboard deal or membership you are told this membership will renew

You do have other options like prepaid membership cards at full price and sometimes with promotional dlc

This is clearly stated on the card you purchased

Movies games music and dlc

Prepaid membership cards are still available what makes you think currency cards are used for it when you clearly have better options

If you mean you want t o use the currency cards for membership deals

I suggest you read the details of the deal

You need a renewable payment option for those deals
