removing xbox parental controls

Hello,

I got an old xbox from a friend (2006) and it has parental controls on it. They gave it away because they lent it to friends that put the controls on for their kids and never removed it when they returned it. They asked them what the code was but they said they could not remember. Is there any way to make this usable again? Thanks

Are you asking for help removing parental controls that your parents set up, I don't think we can help with that

If your parents put parental controls on the console, it would defeat the purpose if you could remove them yourself.

Hey Kal! Just a thought, but have you tried messing around with the parental permissions and seeing if you can grant your sister's account permission to remove the music pass? Possibly looking under Zune/Xbox Music section and seeing if you can give her
permission for passes or something. Then log onto her account and remove the pass?

Really not sure if it'll work, but its a thought to possibly try until a support agent/more knowledgeable person gets with you.
