Removing one account and transfering over data to another

Hello,

I currently have my account logged in and we have used that email for all the game purchases and everything. But my son is old enough now that he can just use his , but I do not know how to transfer everything over to his account and stop using mine. I use
my account for personal use, and do not want it linked anymore. Is there any way at all to transfer to another account on the xbox and transfer over the game data?

Xbox is telling me to get Gold even though I have it?

Another way to attempt to fix this, is to remove the account from the xbox in settings->accounts-> remove accounts. After that is removed login with that gametag again to force the console to fetch your live subscription data. In rare cases your Xbox account and live account will lose sync.

 

Transfering downloaded data to another account???

Content cannot be transferred between accounts. However, if you share an XBox, you both should be able to use most content (avatar items are the notable exception) that either of your purchase.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. At this point there is no way to transfer everything xbox related from one account to a different Microsoft account. Purchases and purchase history cannot be transferred over either.

What can be done is
changing the Primary email account to your sons email. However, this will cause issues if you use this Microsoft account for personal use.
