Removing Games Pass game after spending over $100 on DLC

I purchased every DLC for cities skylines when it was on Games Pass, my brother just got it for his playstation and I really wanted to show him my city and give him some tips. It really broke my heart to realise when I booted up my Xbox that the game was
removed from Games Pass and I now have to pay $40 for the base game just to continue playing. I know stuff gets rotated and I havent played the game in months but I always keep it installed as its one of those games I just get a massive craving for at times.
This really made me feel like one of my best friends gave me a video game only to take it back a year or two later just to offer it back for $40. I know that there is nowhere I can get help for this kind of situation. I just thought I'd bring it up in the
community to see how the felt about this kind of stuff & what they would do if they really had an urge to play a game. Would they give in and spend $40 on a game they essentially already owned or would they wait for a discount or for Microsoft to add the game
back to Games Pass?

Unless it is the only game you really, REALLY, want to play, I suggest you to get the game when it gets discounted (and it gets discounted very often).

Basically be sure to buy the game before they remove it (keep an eye on the rotation update).

They offer a decent discount price when the game is gonna leave the game library.

My pick? Discover some new games. They added awesome stuff in the pass, recently. You'll find a new game to crave for, trust me

I would suggest buying the game outright. As suggested in other posts you can probably get it a little cheaper if you look around. If your going to spend that much in DLC and will continously play the game buying the game is the best option.

I use game pass to play games I normally would not buy but look fun. I'm glad I signed up because I have gotten to play a lot of good games. That being said, I always buy the games that I will spend the most time and DLC on.

If you really like the game I am afraid the best advice us to purchase the game outright but shop around you might be a better price elsewhere
